New Year reflections

As the new year beckons us towards 2019, one of the things we are most looking forward to is heading down to the beach at dawn down in Cornwall - we’ll be up before the sunrises to reflect and capture the light on the water as it brings in a new morning.

“The sigh of all the seas breaking in measure round the isles soothed them; the night wrapped them; nothing broke their sleep, until, the birds beginning and the dawn weaving their thin voices in to its whiteness”

- Virginia Woolf, To the Lighthouse

The pink of the new sky, the purple of the cloud, the grey of the sea and the light peeking through. The waves moving gently on the shore line. The lighthouse, oh to that lighthouse, in the distance.

Stop, breathe, say hello to a new day, a new year.
